| This site is devoted to my pictures
in general and my bird pictures in particular. These are photos
taken during 2006 and will be grouped by area and date. In the past
I have included some personal notes and meanderings as this kind of
presentation became a photo journal. That may happen yet again. It
will simply evolve. My local wanderings have changed a bit this year since I no longer live along the Verde River. Now I am a few minute's walk from some high desert scrub that occupies some acreage that Yavapai College owns in Cottonwood. Other areas which I may wander into include the Verde River along Comanche where I used to live, Peck's Lake if I feel like crossing the "No trespassing" signs, The "Jail Trail" in old town Cottonwood, the Audubon Sanctuary in Cornville, Badger Springs below Cordes Junction, and who knows where else. Maybe I will even get to Truxton Canyon this year. Maybe more. I might even turn up in Florida. |
